A look inside the DJIA shows that Amazon (AMZN 192.36, -9.00, -4.47%), Goldman (GS 538.22, -20.70, -3.70%), and Boeing (BA 173.06, -6.05, -3.38%) are underperforming.
Meanwhile, Merck (MRK 89.88, +2.28, +2.60%) is today's top gain getter.
Today's losses drag the DJIA into the red on the week, now down about -1.07% since last Friday.
Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 42.90, -0.73, -1.67%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 592, -1 w/w and -29 yr/yr.
