[BRIEFING.COM] The major equity indices extended their losses over the last half hour. Just about everything has participated in the downturn as evidenced by a strong negative bias in breadth.
Declining issues lead advancing issues by a better than 4-to-1 margin at both the NYSE and at the Nasdaq.
Elsewhere, Treasuries continue to build on gains.
