Mega caps continue to limit performance

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.1%) and Nasdaq Composite (-0.3%) trade off opening lows. Losses in the mega cap space continue to limit index performance, but there's some buying under the index surface.
The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP) trades 0.1% higher.
Notably, however, market breadth is still negative despite a modest gain in the equal-weighted S&P 500. Decliners have an 11-to-10 lead over advancers at the NYSE and at the Nasdaq.
