[BRIEFING.COM] There was a surge of buying interest in the mega cap space over the last half hour, leading to the sharp incline in the three major indices. The S&P 500 is about 15 points lower than yesterday now.
Apple (AAPL 214.91, +0.76, +0.4%), Amazon.com (AMZN 195.51, +0.58, +0.3%), and Alphabet (GOOG 165.51, +0.45, +0.3%) are standouts in that respect.
The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) was trading down as much as 1.2% earlier, but trades flat now.
