[BRIEFING.COM] The stock market has lost some of its early rebound swagger with Apple (AAPL 214.48, -0.78, -0.4%) and some of the mega-cap stocks losing some of their own. According to Bloomberg, Apple has announced a leadership shakeup in its AI business following product development issues. Vision Pro creator Mike Rockwell is going to be in charge of the Siri virtual assistant, which had been under John Giannandrea's control.
Separately, Amazon.com (AMZN 195.84, +0.30, +0.2%), which had been up as much as 1.9%, is now up just 0.2%. In the same vein, the Vanguard Mega-Cap Growth ETF (MGK) sits on a 0.1% gain now after being up as much as 1.0%.
These reversals have pared index gains at a time when neither buyers nor sellers are showing much conviction.
Advancing stocks, however, hold a narrow lead over declining stocks at the NYSE and Nasdaq.
