[BRIEFING.COM] The Nasdaq Composite (+1.3%) and S&P 500 (+0.5%) remain in positive territory despite signs of selling under the index surface.
The equal-weighted S&P 500 trades 0.3% lower and seven of the 11 S&P 500 sectors trade lower. The financial (-0.03%) sector turned lower after an initial gain, along with the real estate (-0.2%) and energy (-0.2%) sectors.
Also, market breadth turned negative at the NYSE. Decliners have an 11-to-10 lead over advancers.
