[BRIEFING.COM] The three major indices trade at or near session lows. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is more than 450 points lower and the Nasdaq Composite shows a 3.8% decline.
Redfin (RDFN 9.86, +4.04, +69.5%) is a notable exception in today's otherwise downbeat tape after news that Rocket Companies (RKT 13.47, -2.29, -14.6%) is acquiring RDFN for $12.50 per share in a stock transaction.
The overall bias is still decidedly negative. Decliners have a nearly 2-to-1 lead over advancers at the NYSE and a 3-to-1 lead at the Nasdaq.
