DJIA sinks 260 points
Dow -263.23 at 44483.32, Nasdaq -228.56 at 19645.33, S&P -42.15 at 6041.42

[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average is more than 260 points lower, near its worst level of the session. 

Only seven of the 30 Dow components trade higher and upside moves are limited. Cisco (CSCO 62.72, +0.45, +0.7%) is the leader of the pack followed by Coca-Cola (KO 63.77, +0.41, +0.7%) and Chevron (CVX 152.89, +0.99, +0.6%). 

Amazon.com (AMZN 228.80, -10.03, -4.2%) is the weakest performer after its soft Q1 revenue guidance and announcing a plan to spend approximately $100 billion on capex in 2025. NIKE (NKE 70.21, -1.53, -2.1%), Sherwin-Williams (SHW 358.29, -6.93, -1.9%), and Apple (AAPL 229.07, -4.16, -1.8%) are the next worst performers.
