Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The equity market continues to build on opening gains. The S&P 500 sports a 0.4% gain and the Nasdaq Composite is 0.8% higher than yesterday.

Broad buying interest has led the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP) to trade 0.2% higher. 

Some mega cap names have been left out of the advance, but that hasn't held back the broader stock market. Meta Platforms (META 724.56, -0.88, -0.2%), Microsoft (MSFT 408.06, -0.94, -0.2%), and Broadcom (AVGO 234.01, -2.41, -1.0%) are standouts in that respect.
