[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average trades slightly above its prior closing level while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite trade slightly lower.
There's not a lot of conviction on either side of the tape, leading to a mixed showing at the index level. The equal-weighted S&P 500 shows a 0.1% decline.
Semiconductor stocks are a pocket of relative strength in a market that's otherwise lackluster. The PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) trades 0.5% higher. NVIDIA (NVDA 133.99, +0.42, +0.3%) and Qualcomm (QCOM 172.59, +1.22, +0.7%) are standouts in the space.
