CME Group raised margin requirements on precious metal futures for the second time in the span of a week, adding to the volatile backdrop for precious metals.
Precious metals miner Newmont Corporation (NEM 100.53, -1.33, -1.31%) is a laggard after trading 2.1% higher yesterday. With today's loss, the stock is now down 5.0% this week.
