Mega-cap strength points to higher open

The stock market is on track for another higher open, with the major averages well poised to challenge yesterday's record high levels.
Mega-cap names continue to display strength, sending the major averages higher yesterday despite eight S&P 500 sectors finishing with losses.
The market will receive the earnings reports from Alphabet (GOOG 268.27, -0.14, -0.1%), Meta Platforms (META 752.50, +1.06, +0.1%), and Microsoft (MSFT 545.25, +3.18, +0.6%) after the close today.
In the meantime, investors have a hefty slate of earnings reports to peruse from this morning, including those of several Dow components.
