Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+1.0%), Nasdaq Composite (+1.3%), and DJIA (+1.2%) continue to trade in a stable range just after midday. 

The financials sector (+1.2%) has emerged as one of the top-performing S&P 500 sectors. 

Coinbase Global (COIN 344.87, +22.11, +6.85%) holds the widest gain so far, moving higher after JPMorgan upgraded the stock to Overweight from Neutral as they look ahead to emerging monetization opportunities and abating risks at what they see is an attractive valuation versus cryptocurrency peers.

Robinhood Markets (HOOD 138.86, +4.53, +3.37%) also moves higher in sympathy. 

Elsewhere in the sector, major banking names such as Goldman Sachs (GS 779.63, +28.85, +3.84%), Morgan Stanley (MS 164.37, +5.06, +3.18%), and JPMorgan Chase (JPM 301.90, +7.36, +2.50%) hold solid gains.
