A look inside the DJIA shows that IBM (IBM 306.40, +21.40, +7.51%), Goldman Sachs (GS 780.44, +29.66, +3.95%), and Boeing (BA 221.14, +3.37, +1.55%) hold solid gains.
Meanwhile, Honeywell (HON 215.79, -4.88, -2.21%) is today's top laggard.
The DJIA is poised to end the week +2.36% higher.
Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 47.37, -1.52, -3.11%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 550, +2 w/w and -35 yr/yr.
