Several airlines reported earnings this morning, garnering mixed price action in response. 

American Airlines (AAL 12.78, +0.69, +5.71%) trades higher after beating top and bottom line estimates and guiding Q4 EPS expectations above consensus. 

Meanwhile, Southwest Air (LUV 31.28, -2.48, -7.36%) moves sharply lower after beating EPS by $0.15 and reporting revenue in line.

Other major airlines, such as Delta Air Lines (DAL 59.24, -0.76, -1.27%) and United Airlines (UAL 95.42, -0.85, -0.88%), are mostly lower today.
