[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.7%), Nasdaq Composite (-1.6%), and DJIA (-0.5%) steadily chart new session lows as losses widen across seven S&P 500 sectors.
The Vanguard Mega-Cap Growth ETF (-0.9%) is also charting new session lows after a flattish morning across the market's largest names.
Tesla (TSLA 432.52, -10.08, -2.28%) is among the laggards, trading lower ahead of its earnings report after the close today. Bloomberg reported that the company has recalled some 2025 vehicles due to battery pack issues.
