Elsewhere, Moderna (MRNA 27.58, +1.57, +6.03%) trades higher after highlighting seasonal flu and H5 pandemic flu vaccine candidates at IDWeek 2025.
Meanwhile, the consumer staples sector (-0.2%) trades slightly lower as about half of its components hold modest losses. Several household names in the sector, including Coca-Cola (KO 68.05, -0.39, -0.57%) and Philip Morris International (PM 157.88, -0.18, -0.12%), are set to report earnings before the open tomorrow.
