[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.3%), Nasdaq Composite (+0.3%), and DJIA (+0.4%) currently hold modest gains as the majority of S&P 500 sectors trade in positive territory. 

The information technology sector (+0.1%) has spent the session oscillating around its flatline so far, limiting gains at the index level. Oracle's (ORCL 291.60, -21.40, -6.84%) underperformance weighs on the group after the company said at its investor day presentation that its updated revenue target is $225 billion by FY30, which represents a CAGR of over 31% over the next five years.

Meanwhile, Zions Bancorp (ZION 49.45, +2.52, +5.37%), which faced immense pressure yesterday after reporting $50 billion in charge-offs related to fraudulent loans, has recovered around half of its loss.
