S&P 500 approaches all-time high despite mega cap losses

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.2%) approached yesterday's high over the last half hour as President Trump spoke with business leaders during his Q&A at Davos.
Mr. Trump called on the UK and EU to stop going after US technology companies with court cases and investigations. Big tech companies didn't react much to the comments. The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) shows a 0.1% decline.
The S&P 500 information technology and consumer discretionary sectors still lag index performance, showing a 0.5% and 0.2% decline, respectively.
