TSLA weighs down consumer discretionary
Dow +80.56 at 42624.78, Nasdaq +89.63 at 19400.42, S&P +22.20 at 5903.83

[BRIEFING.COM] There hasn't been much up or down action at the index level in recent trading. The Dow Jones Industrial Average trades about 80 points higher than Tuesday.

Four S&P 500 sectors trade lower with consumer discretionary (-0.3%) showing the "largest" decline. A sizable loss in Tesla (TSLA 381.43, -22.30, -5.5%) after reporting disappointing Q4 deliveries has contributed to the loss in the consumer discretionary sector. Amazon.com (AMZN 223.46, +4.09, +1.9%) has provided some offsetting support.

Other mega caps are mostly higher. The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) shows a 0.2% gain.
