[BRIEFING.COM] Sellers are in the minority today and haven't exerted any strong influence to this point in the session. The Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P 500 are all trading near their best levels of the morning, but the small-cap Russell 2000 (+0.6%) is dragging a bit after being up 1.0%.

10 of the 11 S&P 500 sectors are higher. The health care sector is flat, pressured by weakness in drug stocks, which have recoiled after the Department of Health and Human Services announced 15 additional drugs for Medicare price negotiations. Novo Nordisk's (NVO 79.74, -3.33, -4.0%) Wegovy is on the list.

The mega-cap stocks continue to lead the way otherwise. The Vanguard Mega-Cap Growth ETF (MGK) is up 1.4% with NVIDIA (NVDA 138.02, +4.45, +3.3%), Amazon.com (AMZN 223.76, +3.10, +1.4%), Apple (AAPL 231.13, +2.87, +1.3%), and Microsoft (MSFT 429.08, +4.50, +1.1%) in a command position.
