[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+1.04%) is in last place among the major averages this afternoon, albeit on gains north of 445 points.
A look inside the DJIA shows that NVIDIA (NVDA 138.44, +4.87, +3.65%), Salesforce (CRM 327.88, +7.88, +2.46%), and Amazon (AMZN 225.82, +5.16, +2.34%) are among today's top gain getters.
Meanwhile, Merck (MRK 98.62, -2.08, -2.07%) is underperforming.
The DJIA is poised to end the week +3.96% higher.
Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 47.04, +0.71, +1.53%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 580, -4 w/w and -40 yr/yr.
