[BRIEFING.COM] The stock market moved mostly sideways over the last half hour. The S&P 500 (-0.1%) and Nasdaq Composite (-0.1%) remain near session lows. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+0.02%) was holding up better than the broader equity market but recently dipped into negative territory.
The overall vibe in the market is still positive, though. The equal-weighted S&P 500 trades 0.3% lower and the market breadth is positive. Advancers lead decliners by a 5-to-2 margin at the NYSE and by a 4-to-3 margin at the Nasdaq.
Six of the 11 S&P 500 sectors remain in positive territory led by utilities (+0.8%), real estate (+0.7%), and materials (+0.6%).
