Dow slides over 480 points as Travelers, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA lag; Chevron outperforms

[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-1.13%) is in second place on Friday afternoon, down more than 480 points.

A look inside the DJIA shows that Travelers (TRV 232.89, -9.88, -4.07%), Goldman Sachs (GS 565.07, -14.95, -2.58%), and NVIDIA (NVDA 136.63, -3.48, -2.48%) are underperforming.

Meanwhile, Chevron (CVX 153.40, +3.10, +2.06%) is today's top gain getter.

The DJIA is poised to end down -1.35% on the week.

Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 43.21, -0.23, -0.53%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 584, -5 w/w and -35 yr/yr.
