Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] There hasn't been much up or down movement at the index level in recent action. The major indices sit near session highs with gains ranging from 0.3% to 0.6%.

Upside moves coincided with some mega cap names trading higher after initial losses. NVIDIA (NVDA 109.13, +1.12, +1.0%) is among the standouts in that respect after trading down as much as 3.6% following news that it received a DOJ subpoena in the escalating antitrust probe, according to Bloomberg.

Separately, the 10-yr yield and the 2-yr yield both sit at 3.79% now. The 2s10s spread briefly emerged from inversion early in August.
