[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices are hanging around yesterday's closing levels, although the Nasdaq Composite has started to exhibit some relative strength with a turn in the mega-cap stocks.
NVIDIA (NVDA 120.68, +4.42, +3.8%), in particular, has gotten it in gear. It is up from 4.6% from its morning low of 115.38. That violated support at its 50-day moving average (115.73), which in turn seemed to incite the renewed buying interest.
NVIDIA's turn has helped the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index (+1.6%) take a right turn so to speak to its highs for the session. The SOX Index is up 2.0% from its morning low (5009.69), which left it teetering above its 50-day moving average (4998.60).
Separately, Apple (AAPL 227.47, +1.00, +0.4%) is back in positive territory after being down 0.3%, as is Tesla (TSLA 252.27, +2.27, +0.9%), which had been down 0.4%, and Alphabet (GOOG 164.27, +1.20, +0.7%), which had ben down 0.6%.
