Participants are waiting on the Fed's policy decision at 2:00 ET and Fed Chair Powell's press conference at 2:30 p.m. ET.
None of the S&P 500 sectors are moving more than 0.3% in either direction. The real estate sector leads the pack while the materials sector brings up the rear.
Treasury yields are higher in front of the FOMC announcement. The 10-yr yield is four basis points higher at 3.68% and the 2-yr yield is six basis points higher at 3.65%.
