[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.2%) pulled back from its early high.
The communication services sector entered negative territory as its mega cap constituents extended gains. Meta Platforms (META 519.60, -4.54, -0.9%) is a standout in that respect, but Alphabet (GOOG 158.53, +0.16, +0.1%) trades higher.
The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) shows a 0.9% decline.
