Stock Market Update

The S&P 500 futures are down 25 points and are trading 0.8% below fair value, the Nasdaq 100 futures are down 112 points and are trading 0.8% below fair value, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are down 297 points and are trading 1.0% below fair value.

Total CPI was up 0.2% in August (Briefing.com consensus 0.2%) following a 0.2% decline in July. Core-CPI, which excludes food and energy, was up 0.3% in August (Briefing.com consensus 0.2%) following a 0.2% increase in July.
