[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average is trailing the performance of the S&P 500 (+2.1%) and Nasdaq Composite (+2.2%) slightly, but still trades 1.5% higher.
Caterpillar (CAT 329.65, +12.85, +4.1%) shows the largest gain among DJIA components after reporting above-consensus earnings. Dow Inc. (DOW 52.94, +1.93, +3.8%) and JPMorgan Chase (JPM 201.24, +6.39, +3.3%) are the next best performers.
Only five DJIA components trade lower. Boeing (BA 165.59, -1.44, -0.8%) sports the largest decline from the group.
