S&P futures vs fair value: -6.00. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: -10.00. The S&P 500 futures are down six points and are trading 0.1% below fair value, the Nasdaq 100 futures are down ten points and are trading 0.1% below fair value, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average futures are down 11 points and are trading 0.1% below fair value.
Equity futures trade flattish. The market still lacks major directional drivers ahead of NVIDIA's (NVDA) earnings report tomorrow afternoon. Investors are also in vacation-mode in front of Labor Day. Today's economic lineup features the release of the August Consumer Confidence Index at 10:00 ET, along with the June FHFA Housing Price Index and June S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index at 9:00 ET.
The 10-yr note yield is up three basis points to 3.85% and the 2-yr note yield sits at 2.95%, which is two basis points higher than yesterday's settlement.
