Gold futures settled $30.80 lower (-1.2%) to $2,516.70/oz, pressured by a rise in the dollar and bond yields in reaction to yesterday's FOMC minutes.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Dollar Index is up about +0.5% to $101.58.
