[BRIEFING.COM] Small cap stocks are outperforming their larger peers, leading the Russell 2000 to trade 2.6% higher. Still, many other stocks are participating in upside moves.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is 500 points higher and the Nasdaq Composite shows a 2.2% gain.
Separately, the CBOE Volatility Index is down 5.1%, or 0.83, to 15.36 after topping 65.0 last week.
