Some mega caps give back gains, weighing on index performance

[BRIEFING.COM] The Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 moved slightly lower over the last half hour.
Some mega cap stocks that had been trading higher, providing some support to index performance, have turned negative in recent action. Apple (AAPL 227.63, -0.19, -0.1%), which was up as much as 0.7%, Broadcom (AVGO 1730.52, -15.34, -0.9%), which was up as much as 1.4%, and Microsoft (MSFT 463.31, -2.91, -0.6%), which was up as much as 0.2%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average and Russell 2000 remain in negative territory.
