Semiconductor stocks are outperforming the broader market, providing a boost to index performance. The PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) is up 0.6%. NVIDIA (NVDA 127.90, -0.38, -0.3%) and Broadcom (AVGO 1714.89, -13.56, -0.8%) are notable exceptions from the space.
Separately, Coinbase Global (COIN 221.87, -3.00, -1.4%) is trading lower today after Bitcoin briefly dipped below $55,000.
