[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+1.5%) continues to outperform other major indices, propelled by a big earnings-related gain in 3M (MMM 121.01, +18.55, +18.0%). The Nasdaq Composite sports a 0.6% gain and the S&P 500 is 0.9% higher.
Gains in Apple (AAPL 218.05, +0.56, +0.3%), Microsoft (MSFT 423.74, +5.32, +1.3%), Amazon.com (AMZN 181.58, +1.74, +1.0%), Meta Platforms (META 463.48, +10.06, +2.2%), and Broadcom (AVGO 151.01, +1.84, +1.2%) have provided support to index performance.
Many other stocks are participating in upside moves. The Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP) shows a 1.2% gain.
