Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The stock market opened to mixed action. The three major indices trade near their prior closing levels while the Russell 2000 sports a 0.3% gain. Losses in some mega cap names have acted as a limiting factor for index performance, but there's a positive bias under the index surface. 

Advancers lead decliners by a 2-to-1 margin at the NYSE and by an 11-to-10 margin at the Nasdaq. 

Tesla (TSLA 225.94, +16.12, +7.7%) is an influential winner so far after reporting it delivered approximately 444,000 vehicles in Q2.

JOLTS - Jobs Openings totaled 8.14 million in May following a total of 7.919 million in April (revised from 8.059 million).
