[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-1.06%) is near lows of the session, down about 430 points.
A look inside the DJIA shows that Travelers (TRV 203.94, -16.66, -7.55%), Intel (INTC 32.99, -1.88, -5.39%), and American Express (AXP 240.72, -8.48, -3.40%) are underperforming.
Meanwhile, Merck (MRK 126.06, +1.81, +1.46%) is today's top gain getter.
The DJIA is up +0.57% this week.
Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 36.12, +0.23, +0.64%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 586, +2 w/w and -83 yr/yr.
