[BRIEFING.COM] The market is little changed from yesterday's final levels. The major indices are slightly higher or slightly lower than prior closing levels.

Ongoing selling in some mega cap names continues to limit index level performance. Apple (AAPL 226.52, -2.36, -1.0%), Microsoft (MSFT 439.01, -4.51, -1.0%), Amazon.com (AMZN 185.51, -2.37, -1.3%), Alphabet (GOOG 181.10, -1.55, -0.9%), and Eli Lilly (LLY 862.09, -42.31, -4.8%) are standouts in that respect. 

Market breadth is mixed, reflecting a lack of conviction from buyer or sellers. Advancers lead decliners by a 3-to-2 margin at the NYSE and decliners lead advancers by a fractional margin at the Nasdaq.
