A short time ago, the weekly EIA Crude Oil Inventories showed a draw of 4.87 million barrels following last week's draw of 3.44 million barrels. WTI crude oil futures are 2.1% higher today to $82.44/bbl.
The S&P 500 energy sector shows a 1.0% gain, boosted by the price action in oil futures. Meanwhile, natural gas futures are down 4.7% to $2.10/mmbtu.
