[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.2%) moved lower in recent action, hitting a fresh session low.
Still, five of the S&P 500 sectors are trading higher by 1.0% or more. The industrial (+2.2%) sector leads the pack followed by materials (+1.6%), health care (+1.2%), consumer discretionary (+1.0%), and financials (+1.0%).
The only sectors trading lower are the information technology (-1.0%) and communication services (-0.8%) sectors, which comprise 42% of the index.
