[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices found some upside momentum in recent trading. The S&P 500 sports a 0.1% gain and the Nasdaq Composite trades up 0.4%.
Mega caps continue to lead the market higher, but market breadth reflects an underlying negative bias. The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) is up 0.3%. Shares of Apple (AAPL 214.19, +5.12, +2.5%) and Amazon.com (AMZN 191.35, +4.93, +2.7%) are each up more than 2.5%.
Separately, the 10-yr note yield is up seven basis points to 4.31%.
