Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] Things are little changed at the index level in recent trading. 

Growth stocks are outperforming value stocks and are contributing to index-level gains. The Russell 3000 Growth Index is trading 0.9% higher and the Russell 3000 Value Index shows a 0.7% decline.

Elsewhere, commodity futures are trading lower. WTI crude oil futures are down 0.3% to $81.37/bbl, natural gas futures are down 0.9% to $2.79/mmbtu, copper futures are down 1.1% to $4.37/lbs, and gold futures are down 0.5% to $2,333.40/ozt.
