[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices moved mostly sideways over the last half hour.
The heavily-weighted S&P 500 information technology (+1.7%), communication services (+1.3%), and consumer discretionary (+0.1%) sectors are alone in positive territory while the eight remaining sectors show losses ranging from 0.4% (health care) to 1.8% (real estate).
Broad selling activity also has the Invesco S&P 500 Equal Weight ETF (RSP) trading down 0.8%.
