Gains in Apple (AAPL 211.66, +4.16, +2.0%) and Meta Platforms (META 502.05, +7.32, +1.5%), which reportedly discussed an artificial intelligence partnership, have provided some offsetting support to the broader market amid selling activity in NVIDIA (NVDA 121.00, -5.57, -4.4%).
Elsewhere, commodity prices are mostly higher. WTI crude oil futures are up 1.0% to $81.57/bbl, natural gas futures are up 1.8% to $2.75/mmbtu, and gold futures are 0.4% higher at $2,339.90/ozt. Copper futures trade 0.3% lower at $4.43/lbs.
