Gains in some mega cap names have provided a measure of support to the broader market. Apple (AAPL 211.07, +1.39, +0.7%), Amazon (AMZN 187.98, +1.85, +1.0%), Microsoft (MSFT 448.95, +3.22, +0.7%), Alphabet (GOOG 181.61, +3.90, +2.2%), and Tesla (TSLA 182.61, +0.98, +0.5%) are standouts in that respect.
The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) is trading 0.3% higher.
