[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices are mixed and little changed from yesterday. The S&P 500 has traded in a roughly 12 point range from its early high to early low.
Market breadth is also mixed. Advancers lead decliners by a 4-to-3 margin at the NYSE and by an 11-to-10 margin at the Nasdaq.
Gains in NVIDIA (NVDA 133.27, +2.30, +1.8%) and Eli Lilly (LLY 889.50, +4.49, +0.5%) are providing some support to the broader market. Meanwhile, losses in Apple (AAPL 215.33, -1.34, -0.6%), Amazon.com (AMZN 183.83, -0.21, -0.1%), Microsoft (MSFT 446.83, -1.54, -0.4%), Meta Platforms (META 504.12, -2.51, -0.5%) are acting as a limiting factor for the major indices.
