[BRIEFING.COM] The market continues to chop around in narrow trading ranges.
The market-cap weighted S&P 500 shows a 0.1% gain while the equal-weighted S&P 500 has performed slightly better, up 0.2% so far.
Market breadth was mixed earlier, but shows more positive action now. Shortly after the open, advancers led decliners by a 4-to-3 margin at the NYSE and decliners led advancers by an 11-to-10 margin at the Nasdaq. Now, advancers lead decliners by a nearly 2-to-1 margin and by an 11-to-10 margin at the Nasdaq.
