Shares of Apple (AAPL 213.77, -2.89, -1.3%) moved lower after news that the company suspended work on next generation high end headsets, according to The Information. Other mega caps also extended early losses, coinciding with the major indices moving slightly lower. Amazon.com (AMZN 181.74, -2.32, -1.3%), Meta Platforms (META 500.58, -5.84, -1.2%), and Broadcom (AVGO 1803.88, -25.99, -1.4%) are among the influential laggards in that respect.
The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) is trading down 0.2%.
