[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 are still trading slightly above or below yesterday's closing levels while the Dow Jones Industrial Average and Russell 2000 underperform, trading down 0.7% and 1.2%, respectively.
Treasury yields moved lower, but that hasn't translated to support for stocks. The 10-yr note yield is down six basis points to 4.24% and the 2-yr note yield is down two basis points to 4.68%.
Some heavily-weighted stocks gave back early gains, keeping the major indices in check. Meta Platforms (META 502.94, -5.90, -1.2%) is a standout in that respect after trading up fractionally at its high.
